KerPlantz! Trees – Field’s KerPlantz!
Field’s KerPlantz! program is all about helping you get more sustainable plantings in your yard. We know deciding which plants will work is hard and our twice-a-year plant sales have helped make this easier. This year we are adding to our program with the most important plants to add to your yard – TREES!
The KerPlantz! program now sells trees direct to homeowners. These will be nice size #10 to #15 container trees direct from our nursery partner – Wilson’s Nursery. This is a manageable size for you to plant yourself. However, we do offer optional add-on’s including delivery and planting. If you need help deciding where to plant, we can help with that too!
Available trees will be selected based on our priority of getting the most diversity in our urban forest! Inventory may also vary throughout the season depending on nursery availability.

What trees are best?
Small, medium and large! Do you have a legacy tree in your yard?
Slow growing trees are great – blue beech, ironwood, oak, buckeye
Small ornamentals like serviceberry and crabapple are great for small spaces, have wildlife value, and seasonal interest.
