Penstemon ‘Blackbeard’

Burgundy foliage in the spring that gets a deeper purple as the season progresses.  Another perennial we love in a meadow planting where the dark foliage pops against a sea of green and the purple flowers can stand tall. The foliage holds up well throughout the full growing season.
