Amsonia ‘Storm Cloud’

I like to say that “I’ve not yet met an Amsonia that I haven’t liked” and ‘Storm Cloud’ is no exception. It’s slightly taller than its cousin ‘Blue Ice’ but stays in a clump more like Amsonia hubrechtii. The stems emerge almost black, making it an interesting spring feature. Like all Amsonias, it is tough and dependable.
